Ever since you drew your first breath, Ever since the cold air first filled your lungs you wanted more But you never took a single step off the beaten path Afraid of what may lie in the shadows Condemned to stay on the road To hear the horns of yesterday play their sad song forever You yearn for glory, for riches, power But what did you ever do to reach them? You waited And as the horns of yore began their song once again You stood there, just watching and waiting for something to change But when the moment came, you were too afraid to step forward For you are forever bound to a cycle of standing still Break the chains (Break the chains!) Chains of old (Chains of old!) Standing tall be ready to take (Take the fall!)

Avalanche 04:50
I’ve been waiting for a moment to take me away From this bleak, dying world, the cycle repeats again And throughout the years we still wage our war And repeat the struggle without any goal Break the chains (Break the chains!) Chains of old (Chains of old!) Standing tall, be ready to take (Take the fall!) You will forever be a slave to opportunity It is how it’s meant to be unless you jump Into the rising tide (Hey!) Ride on the wind, let it take you to the Morning light, let the worlds collide Into the avalanche (Hey!) Give up everything, face your deepest fears And when you feel the cold, the cycle is no more Oh mighty ones who hide beyond the stars I beg of thee Grant us the strength To deliver us from ourselves I’ve been wandering through the wasteland from night until day And still I haven’t found the strength to break away The right time won’t come, we must bear our arms And destroy the cycle once and for all Break the chains (Break the chains!) Chains of old (Chains of old!) Standing tall, be ready to take (Take the fall!) You will no longer be a slave to opportunity Embrace the reality, close your eyes and jump Into the rising tide (Hey!) Ride on the wind, let it take you to the Morning light, let the worlds collide Into the avalanche (Hey!) Give up everything, face your deepest fears And when you feel the cold, the cycle is no more We’re wasting time trying to find ourselves When we could be so much more Stop wasting time and throw yourself Headstrong into the avalanche We’re wasting time trying to find ourselves When we could be so much more Stop wasting time and throw yourself Headstrong into the avalanche

Listen closely to the wind, it’s calling out your name Let the breeze carry your steps between the trees You walk the hallowed ground, their eyes are watching you Tread carefully through the thorns but waste no time And now, woods once so dark Gleam with light, with a new age rising The spirits come to life Let them show you what it means to feel alive Hear the call from the land great and old Rise above the ice and snow and be reborn Long is the path to our forgotten home Follow the storm in your heart it knows the way Listen closely to the voice, it beckons you to follow Feel life returning slowly to your veins Hear the silent call, the whisper from your soul Fall fearlessly into their warm embrace The urge, the power It’s in your blood, feel your senses growing The spirit, it calls for more To rekindle the flame once frozen in time Hear the call from the land great and old Rise above the ice and snow and be reborn Long is the path to our forgotten home Follow the storm in your heart it knows the way As I lose my mind in these woods, cold wind carries me through And as I open my eyes and my soul I welcome the storm Hear the call from the land great and old Walk the path of strife and scorn and soon you'll reach a new dawn Long is the path of those that walk alone But as soon as you give into your instinct the journey begins (The journey begins!)

And as the land called, they answered No longer mere whispers, The voices within their souls turned into screams And where the spirits have gone they now must follow, into destiny Hidden in the runes lies the story of mankind Written into stone is the fate of this world Wind calls us forth to embrace our journey River sings the song of the ancient land Hidden in the runes lies the story of mankind Written into stone is the fate of this world Wind calls us forth to embrace our journey River sings the song of the ancient land The ancient runes atop the mountains Carved by the gods in the days before time Symbols from our past Set us on the path of tomorrow prophecy unfolded, future is clear Yet hope for salvation seems lost Threads can be severed and stones shattered Our path shall be our own to carve Wandering through the snow light fades away As my body gives in to the burning cold And I stand at the edge all alone I gaze to the sky I pray to the moon and the stars Ride into destiny Forward to the unknown stars be our guides Fear not the path Courage in your heart and sword at your side Still we are waging an endless war We lose ourselves amidst the sorrow and pain And in the distance our goals fade Before night turns to day I can only promise that I will fight ‘till things are right And as long as the light of my star Brightens the sky (I will fight!) When you first see the threads unfold Your life it seems they sold for your faith But we stand up to the ancient ones We’re the ones to defy the norns When we face their lies we take to our arms We fight to the end with undying will When we face their lies we still stand our ground Until all is lost nothing is true Wandering through the snow the light returns The fire that burns in our hearts melts the ice And I stand at the edge with you We’re the ones who see the path so clear Ride into destiny Forward to the unknown stars be our guides Fear not the path Courage in your heart and sword at your side Still we are waging an endless war We lose ourselves amidst the sorrow and pain And in the distance our goals fade Before night turns to day I can only promise that I will fight ‘till things are right And as long as the light of my star Brightens the sky (I will fight!) And now I shall carve my own path Into the distant land, I ride Fearlessly I am searching for the dawn Breaking the silence I’ve known all my life Giving in to the scream dwelling deep within my soul And I know that it will carry me throughout this path of mine Forward to the unknown stars be our guides Fear not the path Courage in your heart and sword at your side Still we are waging an endless war We lose ourselves amidst the sorrow and pain And in the distance our goals fade Before night turns to day I can only promise that I will fight ‘till things are right And as long as the light of my star Brightens the sky and shows me the way (I will fight!)
